Editorial Copy Formatting

Accepted on disk or Email saved as Text only set up in Microsoft Word or Word Perfect. Text: 10 point Times New Roman Black only -Flush left (no centered or spaced text) - No carriage returns except at the end of paragraphs and headings. Accompanying photos to be in High resolution JPEG or TIFF format.

Advertisement Formatting

Ads accepted on film negs (emulsion down), hard copy (Linos) or digital to exact size of ad space purchased. Acceptable programs for digital output are: QuarkXPress 4.1 or lower, Illustrator 8 or lower  - in both platforms of Macintosh and IBM (PC). Also, properly formatted PDF, EPS, TIFF or JPEG.

All files must be accompanied by the necessary fonts, TIFF files and EPS files used in the layout as well as a hard copy (Laser) of the completed ad. All ads should be black and white except for covers or additional colour inserts (by arrangement with Editor), which are CMYK.
