Lisa Kelly, singing since she was 7, comes from a musical family in Dublin. Classically trained in both piano and singing, Lisa has also studied Drama and loves music and musicals. She has performed in many successful roles such as Velma Kelly in Chicago, Florence in Chess, and Laurie in Oklahoma. She has also played lead roles in pantomimes and many concerts such as The Magic of Gershwin, The Music of Cole Porter, and From Romberg to Rodgers to name but a few. In 2000, Lisa made a life-changing decision to join Riverdance -The Show as lead female vocalist. An amazing experience where she also met her husband, Scott. In September 2004, just 4 weeks after the birth of her second boy, the show was recorded in the Helix Theatre, to a sell out audience. Lisa's debut album, Lisa, produced by David Downes, was released in 2002. Her second album will be released this year.

Orla Fallon, singing and playing harp from a young age, credits her late grandparents for her love of music. Órla has won many awards worldwide as an accomplished harpist and singer, including the International Feis Ceoil and International Pan Celtic competitions twice. She has toured extensively in Europe and the USA as a soloist performing her renditions of haunting Irish airs along with her own original compositions. Órla has performed in the Basilica of the National Shrine in Washington DC. She has recorded, performed, and toured with groups such as Clannad, Anuna, and David Agnew, oboist. She has performed for the Pope in the Vatican and on several occasions for the President of Ireland.Órla?s debut album, The Water is Wide, recorded in 2002 is to be followed by a new album next year.

Deirdre Shannon, a versatile singer, has been classically trained at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin. She is one of the brightest talents to emerge in classical cross-over music. She has recorded and performed with a wide range of artists such as The Chieftains, Michael Crawford, Elvis Costello, and Air Supply. In 1997, she performed in Lord of the Dance as the soloist ?Erin the Goddess? in an international tour of North, Central, and South America. Deirdre has performed in the Royal Albert Hall in London and Radio City in New York. In 2003, she toured with the Celtic Tenors as a featured soloist over the past few years in the UK, Germany, Holland, North America, and of course, Ireland. She has also been featured in television appearances with them including PBS in the USA. Deirdre opened the BBC?s annual ?Music Live? event in 2004, where she performed alongside Jamie Cullern, Bob Geldof, Brian Kennedy, and Moya Brennan. She is planning a new album and a production of an innovative folk version of the classic Tristan and Isolde to be directed in France by Patrick Bergen.

Máiréad Nesbitt, member of a well-known musical family, comes from Loughmore, Co. Tipperary. She has been playing fiddle since the age of 6 and is a former All-Ireland fiddle champion. Mairead has formally trained in music at school, the Waterford Institute of Technology, the Cork School of Music under Cornelia Zanidache, and at the London Royal Academy. She continued with post graduate studies under Emanuel Hurwitz at London Trinity College. In her career, Mairead has performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, the RTE Concert Orchestra, with Nigel Kennedy, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor, Clannad, Emmylou Harris, Aslan, Chris De Burgh, and many others. She has played on the original soundtrack of Riverdance and was the lead fiddle player for Lord of the Dance, with which she toured for over five years. She has also been the violinist in the Dion Boucicault play, The Shaughraun, at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. She has also composed the original music score for the dance show Invasion touring in 2006. Her first album, "Raining Up", was recently released

Chloe Agnew, at just 16, is a gifted young musician studying piano, guitar and recorder as well as being a magnificent singer. Chloe has been singing since the age of 6. She won the Grand Prix at the First International Children's Song Competition in Cairo in 1998 representing Ireland when she was only nine with a song called, "The Friendship Tree". She has also performed in many pantomimes. Chloe approached David Downes by herself at just 11 to record a single for charity to raise money for the children in Afghanistan.Her first album, entitled simply Chloe, was recorded and released the following year. Two years later, her second album, "Chloe - Walking in the Air" was also produced by David Downes.

Trust Fund in support of Conor & Cameron Rykaszewski

Our community was saddened at the recent untimely passing of 41 year old Robbie Rykaszewski, husband to Samantha (nee Kennedy) and father to Conor & Cameron. A Trust Fund has been set up for the children at TD Canada Trust.
